The Safety Star of the Quarter Award is designed to recognize and elevate outstanding members whose contributions reflect a commitment to safety, innovation, and alignment with the values of our association. This recognition provides a platform to highlight achievements, promote best practices, and showcase leadership within the industry.

Selection Guidelines
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered, the individual or organization must:
- Be employed by a current member in good standing with the association.
- Demonstrate active participation in association events, programs, or initiatives.
- Have a record of industry achievement and/or innovation, particularly in safety, risk
management, or process improvement.
Evaluation Criteria
Nominees will be reviewed and selected based on the following factors:
- Participation History
- Engagement in association programs, events, or committees.
- Consistent contributions or support of association initiatives.
- Industry Achievement
- Demonstrated excellence in safety practices.
- Noteworthy innovations, particularly in emerging areas such as AI, automation, or hazard analysis.
- Recognition, certifications, or awards in safety or operations.
- Mission Alignment
- Clear alignment with the association’s mission and values.
- Commitment to industry advancement, safety culture, and continuous improvement.
Selection Process
- The Membership Department conducts a quarterly review of employees nominated from eligible member companies.
- Candidates are evaluated against the criteria above, with notable accomplishments
highlighted. - Final selection is made by utilizing category evaluation, where participation has a
weighted average of 30%, industry achievement accounting for 40%, and mission
alignment accounting for 30%. - Selected members will be notified prior to public announcement.
Recognition
Selected recipients will
- Be featured in the association’s quarterly newsletter.
- Have their company logo, description, and URL included in the publication.
- Be highlighted on the association’s website and social media.
To be included in the upcoming newsletter, selected members must provide
- Headshot
- Company logo (high-resolution, preferably PNG or SVG)
- Brief company description (2–3 sentences)
- Website URL
