VPPPA National Board of Directors Nominations
The Call for Nominations for the 2027 National Board of Directors is now open.
Notification for eligible candidates will occur the week of July 19.
The Election will take place during VPPPA’s Annual Meeting of the Membership
on Monday, August 31 as part of VPPPA’s 2026 Safety+ Symposium
at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, TN.
VPPPA Board Members play a vital role in shaping both the present and future of the association as we work to raise the standard for a safe and healthy workplace. They represent member companies across industry and are each passionate about advancing health and safety excellence through collaboration, mentorship, and education.
- Provide strategic oversight to ensure VPPPA advances its mission
- Lead with vision and innovation to become the gold standard organization for safety and health
- Support new initiatives to provide meaningful value to our safety and health community
Call for Nominations
VPPPA will be accepting nominations for the below board positions through July 10, 2026. Nominations received after July 10 will be considered “Nominations from the Floor.” Please review the Requirements, Duties, Obligations, and Responsibilities, and Election Protocols for more details.
Open Positions
- Chairperson
- Treasurer
- Director from a Site without a Collective Bargaining Agent
- Director from a VPP Contractor / Construction Site
- Director-at-Large (3 Positions Available)
In order to be considered, a Nominee must:
- Be employed at a VPPPA Full or Corporate Member site in Good Standing
- Have a minimum of one year experience as a Regional Chapter or SHARP Alliance Board member, Regional Committee member, or National Board Committee member at the time of said nomination, election, appointment, or tenure on the Board
- Complete the Online Nomination Form
- Submit a Signed Letter of Management Commitment
